John Snow, Inc., and their nonprofit JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc., are public health management consulting and research organizations dedicated to improving the health of individuals and communities through the world. JSI’s mission is to improve the health of underserved people and communities worldwide, partnering with governments, organizations, and host-country experts to improve quality, access and equity of health systems worldwide.

JSI administers the Advancing Partners & Communities program (APC), funded by USAID. JSI partnership has eased GTLI’s transition into community-based health and family planning. GTLI has created an integrated approach to helping 16 pastoralist communities understand the benefits of healthy timing and spacing of births and participate in the national program of reproductive health services
